I find that Royal Crown is best for my hair. Olive oil & petrolatium these are the only ingredients. Keep it simple. Warm WATER, yes daily I can’t stress that enough for Black folk why are we scared to put water on our hair on a daily basis? Our hair needs hydration wet & use your favorite product for best results on natural hair. Use Pantene the Best for conditioning & I also use Softee Curl Activator Gel weekly with water.

i use creme of nature my hair felt awesome but like you i tried to cheat and go with different shampoos but it made my hair feel horrible so i came back to creme of nature^^

Heeey I love your hair… Can’t wait for mine to get that long… I didn’t do the big chop though I chickened out lol but I’m fully natural now And it only took me a few months to do so I also use the ors olive oil lotion and I love it!

someone tell me what to use! my hair is this length over 2 1/2yrs new growth exclusively worn in individual weave braids all this time. i don’t usually rock my fro but since it’s so darn big now, im ready. my hair is so nappy and dry and i can’t comb it at all. there is no nice curl pattern going on. it’s really the nappiest of nappy i swear. i want it to shine and be soft and manageable asap.

I feel the same way about the Giovani products. I tried it because of Kimmay. LOVE the Deep Moister and the Tea Trea CONDITIONER but I really don’t bang with the shampoo. Might be the protein or something.
@cabrolm What kind of shampoo and hair products are you using? I tried the Organic Root Stimulator line.. and it made my hair nothing but crunchy. Try Karens body beautiful shampoo and conditioner to start. I like using the KK Knot Today as a leave in. I also like the Juices & Berries by Oyin Handmade.
@jhump08 i don’t use anything in particular. mostly garnier frutise? shampoo and conditioner, doctor miracles braid sheen spray, coconut oil for my scalp. im going to try all of these. thanks for the suggestions
