Hi, homemade shampoos are great. I will be posting some recipes on my blogspot so please check it out when you have time. I have lots of hair care info there that I post regularly!
i was thinking if you could do a video where you show ur viewers how to massage the scalp properly ?
Hi, I will be talking about that in a future video!
can i mix it with olive oil, and use it directly on my face? wud you recommend it
Hi, you can if you are not acne prone. I use olive oil on my face as well and have not problem with it. I love it. If you are acne prone, however, you may want to stick with the jojoba oil. It’s lighter and very similar to skin oil. Olive oil is heavier. When I use olive oil, I do not place it all over my face, but only around my eyes to protect that area from developing wrinkles.
hi, thanks for your helful reply,
i have very oily acne prone skin, and use olive oil everyday all over my face, it doesnt feel greasy.
i’d like to try jojaba oil now, can i use it on its own or do i have to mix it with anything to dilute it, my skin is very sensitive indeed.
many thanks
Hi, you can use it right on your skin. If you skin is fine with olive oil, you should definitely be fine with jojoba oil. Its much lighter.
@YouTips4U so do u like johoba oil more than coconut oil for hair
Hi, I do like them both. It depends on what I want to do to my hair. Jojoba is lighter and I use it more on a daily basis. Coconut oil is a great deep conditioning treatment that I use periodically.
This sounds really good! I definitely wanna try it! <3
Hi, please stop back and let me know how you liked it
)
I definitely will! But I’ve got a question about it! Will using this as a hot oil treatment (massaged into my scalp & into the rest of my hair) promote hair growth? My hair is super thin and takes forever to grow!
Hi, it’s wonderful as a massage oil for your scalp and there has been a lot written about the benefits of promoting hair growth. Jojoba oil is actually being added as an ingredient in hair growth products. I use it at least once a week before I go to bed. I massage my scalp with a small amount. It feels so good and after I shampoo my hair in the morning, it looks wonderful.
Great information. Thanks.
I want to thank you for sharing this comment. I have acne-prone skin, and am sooo afraid to use any oil. Did it ever break you out…?
Nope! It helps with flakiness and dryness and doesnt break me out
How sweet of you to respond. Thank you.
Thanks for this video!
Hi is castor oil safe to use on my skin and hair..I have been using in on my nails at night, and my nails are really long right now..Thank you for your tips : }
Absolutely! Castor oil is wonderful for the skin and nails.
i was planning on using this for my scalp, do i use after my shampoo? and should i just leave it on? thank u in advance for the reply.
Hi, generally this is used as a scalp massage. I love to do it before bed and leave it on while I sleep to promote hair growth. Be sure to use only a very small amount. I always do it the night before I wash my hair.
Hello!I never thought about jojoba oil as a skin&scalp moisturizer,i will definetly try that out!My question is : what do you think of almond oil?Does it have the same effects?Which one is better?
Hi, sweet almond oil is wonderful for your hair as well. I do prefer jojoba oil for skin and scalp as it is most closely akin to human oil.
i love jojoba oil i get it from this website and they have very fast shipping too
